A Tasty Treat For Your Skin

Honey is used as an emollient ingredient in cosmetics.  That means is softens skin & moisturizes.

I've found honey to reduce roughness, dry skin, & irritation.

Continue on for my Simple Skin Relaxation Routine.

Sariana's Sip & Soothe

Tip:  After face washing & drying
  1. Apply a thin layer of honey like a facial mask  (Avoid the delicate eye area & hairline)
  2. Put on a pot of chamomile tea
  3. Turn on some relaxing music
  4. Try not to be tempted to lick at the sides of your mouth.
  5. After 10-20 mins is up, rinse the honey off, & feel how soft your skin is
Fun Fact:  A typical beehive can make up to 400 pounds of honey per year.

That's a lot of skin treatments to go around.  Invite a friend next time for a Sip & Soothe.

I think honey is deff. a good source of protein and nutrients, espc since the bees are the one's that make it.

How long do you leave the honey on?

Honey has many benefits for the skin. When I get a slight burn I immediately put honey and a thin piece of tissue on it. This was taught to me by my mom who heard it from a plumber. It has always worked for me.

I leave it on for 10-20 mins because it starts to drip, and it feels so great after.
