First, I'm so grateful to have such a wonderful following of readers. This blog began in March, and I've already met so many wonderful people in person and online who have shared their love of makeup, hair, skin, fashion, nails, and looking fly! And, boy, do you all. Such a fabulous group of followers. I want to keep you all updated on the latest trend I'm following, so I thought I'd share my new favorite.
Can you guess what Real Housewives of NJ star and author Teresa Giudice complimented me on?
Let's start at the beginning....
Today I decided to try something different with my hair. Being a fair-skinned brunette, I sometimes feel like it's hard to pull of many colors in my locks. I love the natural, earthy look, so I decided why not go for a truly "natural" accessory. Without the use of chemicals or anything damaging, I dove head first into a pile of FEATHERS!!!!!!!!!!!!
I loved this style accessory when I saw it on Steven Tyler during American Idol.
Kesha has rocked the look too,
and even Teresa Giudice told me she liked the style.
Let me explain... this evening I went to see the Real Housewives of NJ star and author at the Bridgewater Borders signing of her new cookbook Fabulicious. By the way, Teresa was looking beautiful in a stripey top that showed off her totally toned and tantalizingly tan arms.
The book is full of gorgeous photos of family, food, and fun times. Teresa was such a doll, meeting, greeting, and signing books for 200+ fans! From my experience, I have to say: Teresa is a real person. She made everyone feel special, and she's very personable and chatty with her fans.
After one look at this book I can't wait to start cooking! Feathers will definitely be flying in my kitchen :)
