Rave Fave: Concealer

We all get the occasional pimple or bump.  Sometimes it has to do with hormones, other times irritation & allergy.  To top that off, in my family, we have dark under-eye circles.  When I was a little girl, someone else's mother told me I looked tired all of the time. After that, I became very self-conscious & aware of my under-eye area.  At twenty-four, I've found a concealer that finally works without clogging my pores or making me look like I have reverse-raccoon eyes! It comes in a small pot that fits discreetly in my purse or clutch, & I carry it with me everywhere.

Here is my before picture; I have no makeup on:

See the veins & dark coloration?

Here is my after picture; I have only concealer on:

See how it illuminates the under-eye area.  I normally add a little mineral powder over my concealer to make it more of a matte look, but that's just my preference.

Would you like to know which concealer takes my eyes from dark & tired looking to bright & well-rested?

RMS BEAUTY'S "UN" COVER-UP to the rescue!

This product is made for minimal "natural looking" coverage & doubles as a light foundation.  A little goes a long way.  It comes in 3 shades, & according to the RMS Beauty website it is specially formulated so the colors melt into & match your skin tone.  It's cost-effective, too.  I'm still on my first pot of "un" cover-up, which cost me only $36 on the RMS Beauty site sometime last summer.  I'm a big fan of this line.  Check out some of their other products, & let me know what you think!

I currently use the MAC Studio Finish Concealer, but I get mixed results. Have you heard anything bad about this brand? Are they overrated, or am I possibly not applying my concealer correctly? I try lightly dabbing it under my eyes with my finger, and sometimes I try those sponges, but the results are either unnoticeable or too noticeable. Thoughts?

I have this problem too! I thought it was hopeless. Thanks for the info. I think I'm going to try it.
