Happy 22nd Birthday!

It's a gorgeous day outside, not one cloud in the sky. Clear deep blue, sunny and comfortable, this day belongs to me. There is always just something about my birthday that I love. It's almost like the final hoorah of summer, whisking me away into a beautiful autumn (my favorite season.) I love the crispness of the day, not too hot nor too cool, just perfect. I love how I can still see flowers in sunny bloom, but at the same time feel the chill of a passing breeze. It's a great time to be celebrating! It's the beginning of the holiday season, back to school, and changing seasons. It's a day for mom and I to look back on all those years ago when we finally met face to face, and are now best friends. It's a time for old and new friends to pay tribute to my day by wishing me well and sending their best. It's just a very happy, genuine time that I love!
