Inspiring Myself

The cleansing process begins...

Sometime ago, not too far back, I slipped ever so slightly away from myself. As I've mentioned before, it's sometimes a struggle against depressive tendencies. I've prevailed most of the time, since my life out of high school, and life has been more than 100% better. But that little lurking shadow creeps up on me once in awhile, and I've decided to muster up my own sunshine to blast it away. Some changes must be made to ensure that my life stays on the path I will for.

For one, I must not let others' opinions or "truths" get in my way or cloud my vision. I don't live in the same world as anyone else, and therefore their heaven or hell is purely their own, and not a reality to me. And my world is whatever I create and believe in. It sounds easy, and I choose to believe it is as well. Case closed.

Secondly, I must be in my most optimum state of health for my body to be conducive to the environment and performance I seek. In layman's terms, I need to eat well, exercise everyday, meditate, and read and listen to quality information. Thus improving my mental state and providing adequate supplementation to all of the cells of my body, enabling me to be and do my best and feel my best.

Thirdly, I need to take delicate care of my personal and professional relationships. I must learn to treat everyone like the high quality gold that they are and act with compassion and understanding to everyone I come across.

It feels good to know that the action steps are set in motion and things are moving on the continuum to improvement. Today I began a First Cleanse, which will remove toxins and support healthy functioning internally. I also made breakfast in bed for the person I love the most, next to mom of course, and I plan on visiting some family, reading a good book, and practicing all of the above.

It's called inspiration, and sometimes you must create your own. Become your own muse. See your own potential and mold it for the better. Understand your worth and life will open up.

Looks like I'm BACK everybody!
