When Times Get Tough

Recently I have come to terms with a frequenting health issue that has persisted to intrude on my life for about five years. It comes and goes, like Aunt Flow, usually occurring during times of stress. It has been hard for me to actually sit down and commit to getting it checked out by a medical doctor, but I have decided to just do it. I need to put an end to uncertainty once and for all.

Through all of this, I have come to realize who my true friends are. They are the people who are there for me when I am at my lowest, crying from being afraid. They are my mother and my boyfriend, the two most important people in my life, and I am eternally grateful for all of their support and nurturing.

Even though I am quite sure that I am fine, but need to change some of my eating and exercising habits, it really strengthens me to have two pillars to lean on no matter what. I encourage you to think about those people who you can truly rely on and let them know how much you appreciate all that they do, as I am doing right now.

I love you both so much and thank you for everything.
